Blue eSIM vs Maya Mobile: pay for the data you use, not for "unlimited"
Maya Mobile sells unlimited data by the week or the month. It sounds simple. But most travellers use 3 to 10 GB on a trip, and paying for "unlimited" means paying for data you never touch.
We checked Maya Mobile's Turkey prices on its own website in October 2026. Maya lists prices in US dollars and we list ours in euros. One euro is worth a little more than one dollar.

A month in Turkey with 20 GB, more than most people use, costs €14.45 with us. That's well under a third of Maya's monthly price.
Watch out for auto-renewal
Maya's Turkey page says its 14-day and 30-day plans renew automatically while its Travel Mode is on, until you switch it off. Forget, and you could pay for another month you didn't plan for.
Our plans never renew on their own. You pay once. If you need more data, you top up the same eSIM yourself, when you choose to.
How much data do you really use?
Maps, WhatsApp, Instagram and a few video calls come to about 300 to 500 MB a day. That's 3 to 5 GB for a week and around 10 GB for a busy month. Our data calculator works it out for your trip in a minute.
